Fold form jewelry

Sue learned the art of fold forming from its inventor, world-renowned master goldsmith Charles Lewton-Brain, at the Center for Metal Arts in New York.  Fold forming takes advantage of the natural properties of metal, enabling creation of three dimensional pieces that are earthy and organic. 

Pennies and nickels!

This is jewelry is made from pennies and nickels using a range of metalsmith techniques including fabrication, fold forming, milling, and forging.  (NOTE: It is illegal to modify U.S. currency if the intent is fraud or to convert the metal to scrap.  It is legal to make jewelry, press pennies into elongated souvenirs, etc.)
