Last week's undecided focal piece is part of this week's copper cuff. It was going to be a pendant for awhile but seemed better suited to the wrist. The disk is attached to the cuff with 18 gauge fine silver rivets, and the colors are flame painted with a torch. And whoa, look at that! When did Weebly add columns to their blog software! Now that we're almost to February, I've been thinking about doing another March One-A-Day challenge. Last year I made and posted a new piece every day of March, including weekends. It was challenging and time-consuming, but really got me working on new skills and design ideas. If you click on March 2011 under Archives (scroll down the right column) OR if you watch this short video, you'll see it's really obvious that I used the time to learn new things. That's when I made my first fold forming pieces and developed the design for my tree of life pendants.
So I haven't decided yet to do another One-a-day, but really leaning in that direction.
